As Gill’s friend of 52 years I have many, many happy memories of our times together. We engaged in serious study, had fun times, crafting, painting, holidays together and much more. Keith’s illness put a lot of strain on Gill but she never wavered and I admire her for all the loving care she fought to give him in his last few years. Gill had a hard time health wise and shouldn’t have suffered as she did at the end – went before her time. She was the best friend I could have had. She was kind, patient, unassuming, modest and gentle. She wouldn’t hurt a fly. She was a beautiful person inside and out. I will miss her dearly but my life was enriched by knowing her and I am sure she will be sorely missed by all of us. Till we meet again, Gill, love from Glinette xxx
